I’ve finished the animatic and initial ideation for my senior project. The story follows a man who, after losing his father to a sea serpent as a child, must later confront the same creature to protect his village and overcome his past trauma.

An updated animatic is on the way, and I’m currently collaborating with a producer on a classical music score, with a demo expected in the next two weeks. Character concept art is also in progress and should be completed by the end of the weekend. Excited to share more soon!

9/13/2025

Third draft of animatic is now finished. I have traced and drawn up my own frames, and am getting closer and closer towards a final shotlist. I’ve sent the animatic to my composer as well as my character artists who will be developing the Son, Dad, and Sea Serpent. Hoping to make more progress with the ideation this coming week.

9/16/2025

Updated the soundtrack and the animatic. Also created an entire production calendar and chart to organize production and categorize priorities and duties amongst team members.

Updated animatic and completed rough demo of soundtrack. Working on developing the characters and environment further. Have first character concept draft finished, working on refining it with more detail and hopefully developing environments soon!

Finished character concept for father and son. Animatic is finalized, just need to create shotlist now. Completed proof of concept for project as well, I made it about the anime Dr. Stone because I find it fun and interesting and I had an idea for it.

Updated animatic with 3D blockout. Going to add in the character animation be next week.
